Refund Policy
Last updated: 15 September 2026
Gateway sells digital guides and instructional content that may be delivered or made accessible immediately after purchase.
Please read this policy before purchasing.
Digital Product Purchases
Because Gateway products are digital and access to the purchased information may be provided immediately, we do not generally offer refunds for change of mind once the digital product has been delivered or access has been provided.
This includes situations where you purchase the guide and later decide that you no longer want to use it.
What You Are Purchasing
Your purchase is for Gateway's digital instructional material.
Gateway does not sell, develop, own, or control the third-party software referenced within the guide.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, payment to Gateway does not purchase ownership of or a licence to third-party software.
Refunds Are Generally Not Provided For
Subject to your rights under applicable consumer law, we generally do not provide refunds where:
-
you simply change your mind;
-
you decide after purchase that you no longer want to use the method;
-
your device does not meet requirements that were clearly disclosed before purchase;
-
you do not follow the instructions provided;
-
third-party software is changed, updated, temporarily unavailable, or discontinued after your purchase;
-
a third-party game, application, operating system, or service is updated and this affects compatibility;
-
your account with a third-party service receives a warning, restriction, suspension, or ban;
-
you disagree with the rules or policies of a third-party service after purchasing; or
-
a third-party provider charges separate fees that were not collected by Gateway.
When We May Provide a Remedy
Please contact us if:
-
you paid but did not receive access to the purchased digital product;
-
you were accidentally charged more than once for the same purchase;
-
the Gateway digital product is materially different from how it was described at the time you purchased it; or
-
you believe you are entitled to a refund or another remedy under applicable consumer law.
We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify the purchase and investigate the issue.
Where appropriate, we may first attempt to restore access, correct the problem, provide an updated copy, or otherwise resolve the issue.
Third-Party Software
Because Gateway does not control third-party software, we cannot guarantee its future availability, functionality, compatibility, or continued operation.
A change made by an independent third-party developer after your purchase does not automatically mean the Gateway digital product is defective.
This does not affect any mandatory rights you may have where the product sold by Gateway does not meet applicable legal requirements or representations made to you at the time of purchase.
Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
For Australian customers, rights may apply under the Australian Consumer Law in addition to this policy.
Customers in other countries may also have mandatory rights under their local consumer protection laws.
Where those rights conflict with this policy, the mandatory legal rights will apply.
Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you experience a problem with your purchase, please contact us first so that we have an opportunity to resolve it.
Submitting fraudulent payment disputes or falsely claiming that a legitimately delivered product was not supplied may result in access to Gateway products being suspended or terminated.
Nothing in this section prevents you from exercising a legitimate right to dispute a transaction with your payment provider.
